The Stelerean System was the first to be settled by the human-Fel alliance, ultimately becoming the central administrative system for the Stelerean Constellation. The settled planet, Stelerean-2 (originally Starstep-93c), had only an early phase ecosystem with no sentient species.
The Stelerean System is a single star system, the primary star designated Stelerean-Alpha. The system has 6 planets, with 4 rocky worlds, one habitable, and an outer gas and ice-giant.
Stelerean-2 is known colloquially as Stelerean Prime, the administrative capital of all UniSys member systems. After rapid development and economic expansion following settlement in 2203, the cities soon formed a planet-wide sprawling mass from the planet’s central capital, Hub City. The planet’s ecosystems suffered a devastating collapse in 2302 during a period known as ‘The Fall’. With the economic importance it represented, the entire world was completely re-terraformed, leaving no trace of its original ecosystems or natural water bodies. There are large artificial green areas, lakes and forests, as well as impressively extensive synthetic algal farming regions spanning thousands of kilometers. The planet’s atmosphere and weather are all regulated artificially with giant atmospheric processing plants, with surface albedo controlled with a synthetic surface called Alicantilum, giving the planet a gold-like appearance. The planet has a single moon housing the primary star base for the United Systems Naval Fleet.
